I remember waking up one morning to a damp pillowcase. Again.
I’d been drooling more and more often, enough that I started keeping a spare pillowcase nearby. At first, I dismissed it as harmless.
Then, during a routine checkup, I casually mentioned it to my doctor.
Instead of brushing it off, she asked a series of questions:
- Do you snore?
- Are you tired during the day?
- Do you wake up with headaches?
- Have you noticed difficulty swallowing?
Those questions led to further testing and ultimately revealed an underlying sleep issue.
That experience taught me an important lesson: sometimes small symptoms can provide clues about larger health concerns.
