Instructions
Preparation Steps
Wash and thoroughly dry the chicken pieces.
In a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, salt, and black pepper.
In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, seasoned salt, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.
Dip the coated chicken pieces into the buttermilk mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
Return to the flour mixture for a second dip and shake off any excess flour.
Spray the air fryer basket with oil and preheat to 370°F.
Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway and spraying the other side with oil.
Repeat steps for additional chicken as needed.
Notes
For a zesty kick, sprinkle lemon juice over the chicken before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
