Instructions
Preparation
Use a knife to carefully carve a circle around the pumpkin's stem, creating a lid that you can remove.
Take a spoon and remove all the seeds and stringy flesh from the inside, making it as clean as possible.
Creating the Volcano
Set your glass or plastic container inside the pumpkin, ensuring it fits snugly.
Pour about 1 cup of baking soda into the container.
Mixing the Eruption Ingredients
For extra foam, add a tablespoon of dish soap to the baking soda.
If using, add a few drops of liquid food coloring for vibrant eruptions.
Erupt!
Slowly pour the vinegar into the container.
Enjoy the spectacle as the reaction creates a colorful, bubbling eruption that spills out of the pumpkin!
