Instructions

Biscuit Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • Pour melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  • Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Stir in buttermilk and peach juice or syrup until just combined, then fold in diced peaches.
  • Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
  • Lightly score the dough into 9 squares without cutting all the way through.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Cool the biscuits for about 10 minutes in the pan.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze; drizzle over warm biscuits.
