Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 1 cup Milk Warm to 110°F
  • 2 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 large Large Eggs Room temperature
  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour Spoon and level
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar Can substitute with brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Room temperature

For the Blueberry Filling

  • 2 cups Blueberries Fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar Light brown
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Icing

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Room temperature
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions

How to Make Blueberry Cinnamon Rolls

  • Warm the Milk to 110°F.
  • Activate the Yeast in warm milk for 5-10 minutes.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: flour, sugar, and salt.
  • Add Butter and Yeast Mixture to dry ingredients.
  • Incorporate Eggs and knead for 5 minutes.
  • First Rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Make Blueberry Jam and let cool.
  • Prepare Cinnamon Filling by mixing butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Roll Out the Dough into a rectangle.
  • Form the Rolls and cut into 12 pieces.
  • Second Rise for 20 minutes in a greased pan.
  • Bake at 375°F for 28-30 minutes.
  • Prepare Icing by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
  • Ice the Rolls while still warm.
