How to Make Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Whisk together eggs, Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, and Dijon mustard in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
Layer slices of challah bread in a greased baking dish. Alternate with slices of ham and the egg mixture.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
Cool slightly after removing from the oven. Just before serving, add a dollop of raspberry preserves on top.
Notes
Resting time of 5-10 minutes is recommended for clean slicing and better flavor melding.
