Preparation Steps

  • Begin by selecting your favorite method for boiling eggs—whether it's on the stovetop, in an Instant Pot, or by steaming. Ensure they are hard-boiled for perfect filling.
  • Once your eggs are boiled, let them cool completely. Carefully peel the shells and slice each egg in half lengthwise, gently removing the yolks for later use.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the egg yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, fresh lemon juice, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and crème fraîche. Use a hand mixer to create a smooth, fluffy filling that’s bursting with flavor.
  • To fill the egg whites, transfer the yolk mixture into a zip-top bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe the creamy filling generously into each egg half until they are beautifully filled.
  • Finish your elegant deviled eggs by adorning them with fresh sage and thyme sprigs. Chill them in the refrigerator until it’s time to serve for a delightful treat.
