Ingredients

How to Make Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the twisted pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining, then set the pasta aside.
  • Pat dry the chicken pieces with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Heat unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and let it rest.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic in remaining butter until fragrant, about 1 minute. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, then pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Gradually whisk in freshly grated Parmesan until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet along with the pasta, tossing everything together to coat with the sauce. Adjust consistency by adding reserved pasta water if necessary. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Optional: For a hint of spice, sprinkle red pepper flakes before serving. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
