Instructions

How to Make

  • Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper for enhanced flavor.
  • In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each seasoned chicken breast in the Parmesan and panko mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully place the coated chicken in the skillet, searing for about 3–4 minutes per side.
  • Lower the heat to medium-low and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the light or heavy cream along with the Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.
  • Stir in the additional grated Parmesan cheese for the sauce.
  • Cover the skillet and cook the chicken for an additional 8–10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed. Plate your crispy chicken and spoon the garlic sauce over the top.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and added flavor. Let cooked chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
