Instructions

How to Make Gourmet Coffee-Infused Chocolate Bonbons

  • Begin by finely crushing your coffee-flavored biscuits in a zip-lock bag or food processor until you achieve a sandy texture. Set aside in a bowl while you prepare the other ingredients.
  • In a double boiler, gently melt the dark chocolate over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth and glossy. Avoid overheating to maintain the chocolate’s fine texture.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed biscuits, melted chocolate, chopped walnuts, condensed milk, and a dash of cinnamon. Fold everything gently until well combined, ensuring not to overmix.
  • Pour the rich mixture into bonbon molds, making sure to pack each piece well so they hold their shape. Refrigerate the molds for at least 1 hour until the bonbons are firm.
  • Melt the white chocolate using the same double boiler method. Once melted, carefully dip each bonbon into the white chocolate to coat them evenly, allowing any excess to drip off.
  • Get creative by drizzling melted dark chocolate over the coated bonbons or sprinkling crushed walnuts on top for added flair before the chocolate sets.
  • Place the decorated bonbons back in the fridge until the coating hardens, usually about 30 minutes, ensuring they are ready for serving.

Notes

Dust with cocoa powder or edible gold flakes for an extra special touch!
