Baking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs, maple syrup, milk, and melted butter until smooth and well blended.
  • Gently add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, using a spatula to spread it evenly.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  • Drizzle a glossy glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with milk over the cooled bars.

Notes
