Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop half of the batter into the muffin tin, filling each liner about halfway full.
Mix the reserved batter with cocoa powder for a marble effect and drop spoonfuls over the pumpkin batter.
Use a toothpick or knife to swirl the two batters together lightly.
Baking
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm or at room temperature. Can be served with butter or cream cheese. For longer storage, wrap and freeze for up to three months.
