How to Make Festive Christmas Sprinkle Buttermilk Bread
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, buttermilk, melted butter, and almond extract until creamy.
Gently add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in the sprinkles carefully.
Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, buttermilk, and corn syrup for the glaze.
