Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F and position the rack in the upper third.
Line a 9x5 inch aluminum loaf pan with parchment paper.
Whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt in a large bowl.
Combine egg, buttermilk, melted butter, and almond extract in another bowl.
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just incorporated, then fold in sprinkles.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
Cool the bread in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack for 1-2 hours.
Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, buttermilk, and corn syrup until thick.
Spoon the glaze over the cooled bread and sprinkle with nonpareils.
