Instructions
Making the Truffles
Crumble the Cakes: Begin by placing the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes into a mixing bowl. Use your hands or a fork to crumble them into fine pieces; this will form the base of our truffles.
Mix with Cream Cheese: Next, add the softened cream cheese to the crumbed cakes. Stir well until it combines into a dough-like consistency that's creamy and smooth.
Form Truffle Balls: Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into one-inch diameter balls. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they have space to chill.
Chill the Truffles: Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and pop it into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Melt Chocolate: While your truffles chill, melt the chocolate melts according to the package instructions. Stir frequently until the chocolate is velvety and smooth.
Coat the Truffles: Once melted, dip each chilled truffle into the chocolate. Let any excess chocolate drip off and immediately add your colorful sprinkles on top while the chocolate is still wet.
Notes
Optional: Drizzle some melted white chocolate on top for an extra festive touch. Store truffles in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
