Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 pounds Chicken Thighs Substitute with chicken breasts if preferred.

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce Opt for low-sodium soy sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Maple syrup can be used as an alternative.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh minced garlic recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Fresh ginger recommended, ground can be a substitute.

For Thickening

  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Mix with cold water before adding to sauce.

For Liquid

  • 1/4 cup Water Chicken broth can be used for more flavor.

Instructions

How to Make Dump & Go Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Whisk until smooth to create the teriyaki sauce.
  • Place the chicken thighs into your crockpot. Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over them, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • For a richer sauce, remove the lid for the last 30 minutes on high to allow the sauce to thicken.
  • Serve your teriyaki chicken over jasmine rice, topped with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with sliced radishes for added crunch.
