Ingredients

For the Base

  • 2 cups Mashed Potatoes Can use leftover sweet potatoes
  • 2 cups Stuffing Must be moist, add broth if dry
  • 1 cup Shredded Turkey Can substitute with shredded chicken

For the Coating

  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs For a crispy coating
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust according to taste

For Cooking

  • 2 tablespoons Butter/Oil For frying, can use olive or coconut oil

For Serving

  • 1 cup Gravy For drizzling

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and let them come to room temperature.
  • Warm mashed potatoes in the microwave if cold.
  • Moisten stuffing with broth if dry.

Mixing and Forming

  • Mix mashed potatoes, stuffing, and turkey in a bowl.
  • Season with black pepper and form into 12 golf ball-sized portions.

Cooking

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • For frying, roll in panko and fry in butter/oil until golden brown.

Serving

  • Drizzle gravy over the balls and serve warm.

Notes
