Instructions
In a small saucepan, simmer 1 cup of fresh apple cider over medium heat until it reduces to about 1/4 cup.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pans.
In a large bowl, combine the reduced cider, melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until just combined.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag to fill the donut pans about 2/3 full.
Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for a few minutes in the pan, then dip each donut in melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
Notes
Store baked donuts in an airtight container for up to 1-2 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 3 months.
