Breadstick Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • All-purpose flour For dusting
  • Marinara sauce For dipping

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Take the pizza dough out of the package and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes.
  • Sprinkle some flour on your work surface to prevent sticking.
  • Cut the dough into 10 equal pieces.
  • Roll each piece into an 8-inch long rope with slightly thicker ends.
  • Snip each end of the rope about 1 inch deep and gently pull to create bone shapes.
  • Place the shaped breadsticks on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between them.
  • Brush melted butter over each breadstick and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until puffed and light golden.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top and return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  • Once done, let them cool slightly and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftover breadsticks in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
