Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup caramel topping
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar in a large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla one at a time until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet until just combined.
  • Pour ¼ of the batter into each prepared loaf pan. Spoon ¼ cup of caramel topping over each and gently swirl without touching edges.
  • Add remaining batter evenly to each pan, covering the caramel layers.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool in pans before slicing and serving.

Notes

Let the bread cool completely before slicing to prevent it from crumbling. For extra decadence, drizzle with more caramel after baking. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
