Instructions
Preparation
Start by peeling the bananas. After you peel them, cut each banana in half to create ghost shapes.
Insert a popsicle stick into each banana half for the handle.
Chocolate Coating
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stir and, if necessary, heat for another 20 seconds until smooth.
Dip or drizzle the banana halves with the melted chocolate, ensuring they are well coated.
Decorating
While the chocolate is still soft, press two chocolate chips onto each banana half for the eyes and a small piece of chocolate for the mouth.
Place the ghost pops on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
Serve chilled on a fun platter. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. For smoother chocolate coating, add a small amount of vegetable oil to melted chocolate.
