Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Choose ripe but firm bananas for best flavor.
  • 2-4 pieces popsicle sticks
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (dark or milk) For eyes and mouth decoration.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by peeling the bananas. After you peel them, cut each banana in half to create ghost shapes.
  • Insert a popsicle stick into each banana half for the handle.

Chocolate Coating

  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stir and, if necessary, heat for another 20 seconds until smooth.
  • Dip or drizzle the banana halves with the melted chocolate, ensuring they are well coated.

Decorating

  • While the chocolate is still soft, press two chocolate chips onto each banana half for the eyes and a small piece of chocolate for the mouth.
  • Place the ghost pops on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

Serve chilled on a fun platter. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. For smoother chocolate coating, add a small amount of vegetable oil to melted chocolate.
