Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup Can be substituted with honey or agave syrup.

Fragrance Ingredients

  • 10-15 drops essential oils (your choice of fragrance) Customize with your favorite scents.

Tools

  • 1 set silicone molds (various shapes)
  • 1 unit mixing bowl
  • 1 unit spoon
  • 1 unit baking sheet (for drying)

Instructions

Preparation of Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/3 cup of white vinegar. The mixture will fizz – this is normal! Stir gently until fully combined.

Adding Ingredients

  • Add 1 tablespoon of corn syrup to the mixture.
  • Incorporate 10-15 drops of your chosen essential oil. Stir until everything is smooth and evenly mixed.

Molding

  • Pour the mixture into silicone molds.
  • Use a spoon to press down the mixture to ensure it’s compact.

Drying

  • Place the molds on a baking sheet and let them sit for 24-48 hours at room temperature to harden.

Unmolding and Placement

  • Once dried, carefully pop the stones out of the molds.
  • Place them in desired locations around your home or gift them to friends!

Notes

For added color, a few drops of food coloring can be added to the mixture. Experiment with different essential oils for various scents. Molds can be in different shapes to match seasonal themes.
