Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb flank or skirt steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 large bell peppers, sliced
  • 8 small tortillas

Instructions

  • Mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic, spices, salt, and pepper. Toss steak in marinade and rest 30 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet over high heat and sear steak in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté onions and bell peppers until tender and vibrant.
  • Return steak to pan, toss with vegetables, and heat through.
  • Warm tortillas and serve steak and vegetables with desired toppings.

Notes

Slice steak against the grain for best tenderness. Adjust spice level to taste.
