Ingredients

butter

brown sugar, packed

vanilla extract

quick-cooking oats

semi-sweet chocolate chips

peanut butter
Instructions
Grease a 9×9-inch square pan and set aside.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in brown sugar and vanilla extract until combined.
Reduce heat to low, add oats, and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Press half of the oat mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Pour chocolate mixture evenly over the oat base.
Crumble remaining oat mixture on top and gently press down.
Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours or overnight until set.
Notes
Allow bars to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
