Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Slice chicken and prepare vegetables. Whisk sauce ingredients together.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden, then remove.
  • Add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté briefly, then add vegetables and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  • Return chicken to pan, add sauce, and stir until coated and slightly thickened.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Best cooked over high heat for crisp vegetables.
