Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  • Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Shape into oval patties.
  • Brown patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Place mushrooms in the slow cooker and arrange patties on top.
  • Pour beef broth over patties, cover, and cook on low for 6–8 hours.
  • Adjust seasoning, thicken gravy if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

Browning patties adds extra flavor but can be skipped.
