Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
Mix milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in apples.
Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the baking sheet and shape lightly.
Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
Drizzle glaze over slightly cooled fritters and allow to set.
Notes
Best served warm. Use firm apples for the best texture.
