Ingredients

  • 2 lbs smoked sausage sliced
  • 2 boxes frozen potato and cheese pierogies
  • 1 large yellow onion sliced
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions

  • Grease the slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray.
  • Spread sliced onions evenly on the bottom.
  • Layer frozen pierogies over the onions.
  • Add sliced sausage on top of the pierogies.
  • Pour melted butter evenly over everything.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours until tender.
  • Stir gently, adjust seasoning, and serve warm.

Notes

Reduce butter for a lighter version or add mustard for extra flavor depth.
