Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ham diced
  • 3 cups frozen green peas
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Place diced ham in the slow cooker and top with peas.
  • Pour chicken broth over and ensure ingredients are mostly submerged.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-2.5 hours.
  • Stir in egg noodles 30-40 minutes before serving.
  • Cook on HIGH until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and stir in cream until smooth.
  • Let sit briefly to thicken, then serve warm.

Notes

Add noodles near the end to avoid overcooking. Stir in butter for extra richness if desired.
