Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk warm
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 9 pieces lasagna noodles cooked
  • 8 oz deli ham sliced
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour, cooking for 1 minute.
  • Slowly whisk in warm milk and simmer until thickened.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, Dijon mustard, mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth.
  • Mix chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer sauce, noodles, chicken, ham, Swiss cheese, and repeat.
  • Top with noodles, remaining sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Let lasagna rest before slicing for clean layers. Add parsley or vegetables for extra flavor.
