Ingredients

  • 2.5-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz fresh brown mushrooms sliced

Instructions

  • Lightly grease the slow cooker with nonstick spray or oil.
  • Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the slow cooker.
  • Scatter sliced mushrooms over and around the chicken.
  • Spoon condensed cream of mushroom soup over the top and spread evenly.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2.5-3.5 hours until chicken reaches 165°F.
  • Stir the sauce gently to create a creamy mushroom gravy.
  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.

Notes

Cook on LOW for best tenderness. Add lemon juice or parsley for brightness before serving.
