Ingredients

smoked sausage or kielbasa (sliced)

red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)

yellow onion (sliced)

condensed beef broth or beef gravy-style soup
Instructions
Slice sausage into rounds and slice onion thinly.
Optional: Sear sausage in a skillet until lightly browned.
Layer onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add sausage on top, followed by beans and broth.
Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
Stir, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
Notes
Sear the sausage before slow cooking for extra flavor, but it can be skipped for convenience.
