Ingredients

Instructions

  • Combine apricot jam, water, and lemon juice in a small saucepan.
  • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring until the jam melts and the mixture becomes smooth.
  • If using gelatin, add it and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Strain the glaze through a fine sieve to remove any lumps or fruit pieces.
  • Brush the warm glaze over pastries, fruit tarts, or cakes for a glossy finish.

Notes

Use warm for best results. You can substitute peach jam for a slightly different flavor.
