Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and clear.
  • Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and vanilla extract.
  • Arrange sliced strawberries evenly in the baked pie crust.
  • Pour the slightly cooled glaze evenly over the strawberries.
