Ingredients

boneless skinless chicken breasts

crushed pineapple in juice, undrained

light brown sugar, packed
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the chicken.
Pour the crushed pineapple and its juice over the chicken.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2½–3 hours until chicken is tender.
Shred or slice the chicken and stir it into the pineapple sauce before serving.
Notes
For a less sweet version add a splash of soy sauce or lemon juice after cooking.
