boneless, skinless chicken breasts

bottle (12–16 oz)
barbecue sauce or sweet & tangy marinade

chicken broth or water
Instructions
Lightly spray the slow cooker insert with cooking spray or rub with oil.
Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the slow cooker.
Mix barbecue sauce and chicken broth until smooth, then pour over chicken.
Cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3½ hours until tender.
Shred chicken directly in the slow cooker and stir to coat with sauce.
Turn to WARM and let sit 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the shredded chicken sit in the sauce for 10–15 minutes before serving.
