Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground pork until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Transfer the pork mixture to the slow cooker.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Stir until well combined.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until rich and flavorful.
  • Taste and adjust salt if needed. Serve over cooked pasta and top with grated Parmesan.

Notes

For extra richness, stir in a splash of heavy cream at the end. Add red pepper flakes for heat or finely diced carrots and celery for additional depth.
