Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup soy sauce or teriyaki sauce

Instructions

  • Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Pour the honey and soy sauce (or teriyaki sauce) over the chicken, coating evenly.
  • Cover and cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks in the sauce and stir to coat.
  • Serve hot over rice, in wraps, or as sandwiches.

Notes

Add garlic or ginger for extra flavor. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Use coconut aminos for gluten-free option.
