Ingredients

  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1.5 cups hot water
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring water to a gentle simmer in a small pot.
  • Add whole cloves and ginger, then steep for 10–12 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a cup and stir in honey.
  • Add a slice of lemon and enjoy warm.

Notes

Steeping whole cloves allows the beneficial oils to release gradually.
