honey

Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and optional red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
Pour the honey mixture evenly over the chicken.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours (or HIGH for 3–4 hours) until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Optional: Remove the chicken and simmer the sauce on the stove for a few minutes to thicken, then pour back over the chicken.
Notes
Optional: Add red pepper flakes for heat or apple cider vinegar for tang. Chicken thighs can be used for extra juiciness.
