chicken thighs or pork roast

Instructions
Place the protein in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add chopped vegetables around and on top of the meat.
Pour broth over the ingredients until just covered and season with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until meat is tender.
Notes
Add garlic or herbs for extra flavor. For thicker gravy, stir in a cornstarch slurry during the final 15 minutes of cooking.
