Ingredients

  • 1 pound uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or ziti)
  • 1 24–26 oz jar marinara or tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 cup bottled Italian salad dressing
  • 2 cups water or low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  • Lightly grease the slow cooker insert.
  • Whisk together marinara sauce, Italian dressing, and water or broth.
  • Stir in uncooked pasta, ensuring noodles are mostly submerged.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours, stirring once halfway through.
  • Check for tenderness. Add a splash of liquid if needed and cook 10–15 minutes longer.
  • Adjust seasoning and serve hot with optional Parmesan or fresh herbs.

Notes

Stir halfway through cooking for even texture. Add extra water or broth if pasta absorbs too much liquid.
