Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter (for swirl)
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar (optional glaze)
  • 1-2 Tbsp milk (optional glaze)
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract (optional glaze)

Instructions

  • Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Grease the slow cooker and pour in half of the batter.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over batter, and drizzle melted butter.
  • Spread remaining batter over cinnamon layer carefully.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 2½–3 hours, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  • Let cake rest 15 minutes before serving.
  • Optional: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze and drizzle over warm slices.

Notes

Serve warm with coffee, tea, or a scoop of ice cream. Add nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
