Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Place pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle dry onion soup mix evenly over the pork chops.
  • Pour uncooked long grain rice around and over the pork chops.
  • Add water according to rice package directions.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until pork is tender and rice is fully cooked.
  • Fluff rice with a fork and serve pork chops over the onion rice.

Notes

Use long grain white rice for best texture. Add vegetables in the final 30 minutes if desired.
