Instructions
Place pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
Sprinkle dry onion soup mix evenly over the pork chops.
Pour uncooked long grain rice around and over the pork chops.
Add water according to rice package directions.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until pork is tender and rice is fully cooked.
Fluff rice with a fork and serve pork chops over the onion rice.
Notes
Use long grain white rice for best texture. Add vegetables in the final 30 minutes if desired.
