Ingredients

boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

uncooked long-grain rice

cream of chicken soup

chicken broth
1
tsp
garlic powder
1
tsp
onion powder
to taste
salt & pepper
1–2
cups
optional frozen peas or mixed vegetables
Instructions
Place chicken in slow cooker and sprinkle rice around it.
Spoon cream of chicken soup over chicken and rice.
Pour chicken broth over everything.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until chicken is cooked and rice is tender.
If using vegetables, stir them in 30 minutes before serving.
Shred chicken and return to slow cooker. Stir together and serve.
Notes
Set and forget slow cooker recipe. Add optional vegetables and cheese for variety.
