Instructions
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Dry completely with a towel.
Rub each potato with olive oil or butter. Season generously with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
Wrap each potato tightly in heavy-duty foil, sealing edges completely.
Place foil-wrapped potatoes in the slow cooker in a single layer, stacking slightly if necessary.
Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until fork tender.
Carefully unwrap and serve with desired toppings such as butter, sour cream, cheese, or chives.
Notes
Choose potatoes of similar size for even cooking. For a cheesy finish, unwrap and broil with cheese for 2–3 minutes after slow cooking.
