Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup strong coffee, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp + 1 1/2 tsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment.
  • Whisk flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add oil, coffee, honey, egg, orange juice, and vanilla. Whisk until combined.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake 35–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Cool in pan 5 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve with powdered sugar, butter, or a light drizzle of honey.
