A simple four-ingredient slow cooker pork recipe with an incredibly delicious spoon-worthy sauce perfect for busy weeknights.

Equipment

  • two forks for shredding

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb pork tenderloin
  • 16 oz Italian dressing
  • 16 oz barbecue sauce
  • 1 oz packet ranch seasoning mix (dry)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • optional fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat the pork tenderloin dry and season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
  • Place the pork tenderloin in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Pour the Italian dressing and barbecue sauce evenly over the pork.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the top.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until pork is fork-tender.
  • Remove pork, shred or slice, then spoon sauce from the slow cooker over the top before serving.

Notes

For thicker sauce, remove pork and cook sauce on HIGH for 10–15 minutes uncovered. Add onions or bell peppers under pork for variation.
