Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat or beef tips
  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut into big chunks
  • 2 10.5 oz cans condensed beefy or golden mushroom soup
  • 1 packet dry brown gravy mix

Instructions

  • Place potato chunks in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Add beef evenly on top of the potatoes.
  • In a bowl, mix condensed soup and dry brown gravy mix until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture evenly over the beef and potatoes. Do not add water.
  • Cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until beef is tender.
  • Gently stir and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, cook on LOW for 7–8 hours. Cut potatoes into large chunks to prevent overcooking. No water is needed.
