Ingredients

  • 4-6 medium Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • optional garlic powder
  • optional rosemary or thyme

Instructions

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat them completely dry.
  • Rub each potato with olive oil or melted butter, then season generously with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or herbs.
  • Wrap each seasoned potato individually in heavy-duty foil, sealing tightly.
  • Place the foil-wrapped potatoes in a single layer inside the slow cooker.
  • Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until a fork slides easily into the center.
  • Carefully unwrap the potatoes and serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Choose similar-sized potatoes for even cooking. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
